US Elections of 2016 were influenced by a Russian cyber army and this is now a fact from what Mr. Comey has disclosed to the world after he was fired by Donald Trump a few days ago.
The probe which the past US President Barack Obama launched in December’16 also confirmed that a foreign nation influence was seen in US 2016 Polls.
FBI and CIA on a collective note issued a public statement on January 8th, 2017 accusing Russian President Vladimir Putin of influencing the US elections which eventually went in favor of the 45th US President Donald Trump.
Yesterday, Bloomberg reported that both the voter database and software systems of 39 US states were influenced by Russian cyber attacks before the Election Day i.e. November 8th, 2016.
Adding fuel to this news was the recent statement issued by Russian President Vladimir Putin which says some private hackers from Russian could have launched cyber attacks on the US 2016 polls and might have succeeded in turning the election results in favor of Mr. Trump.
However, the president of the Russian Federation has made it official that his government or staff members have nothing to do with those hackers who launched cyber attacks. The 64-year old added that it was a choice of those individuals to influence the polls and they are/were not funded by the Russian government in any way.
The Bloomberg news post and the statement of Mr. Putin not only surprised the entire world but also painted a worrisome picture for future US elections.
At this juncture, a single question might be circling in the minds all those voters who voted for their favorite presidential probable’s (Hillary & Trump) in US 2016 polls.
What’s the use of disclosing our mind with our valued votes when a foreign nation has the potential to influence the polls of United States….?
