China to launch satellites controlled by Artificial Intelligence

China is all set to pave way for innovation in the field of astronomical science by launching Satellites which will be controlled by Artificial Intelligence. This news piece was revealed by China Central television on Sunday and the resource adds that the Satellites will be launched in a series which will occupy the orbits by 2021.

As per the sources reporting to Aitech Insiders, the AI-controlled Satellite constellation will be composed of individual satellites called as Leo Satellites. And an estimate of over 192 individual satellites is expected to be lined-up in the form of a constellation called ‘Xingshidai’.

Traffic Monitoring, environment tracking & reporting, and disaster prevention will be the operational objective of the AI Constellation of satellites. However, a source from Chinese intelligence has confirmed that the space stations also have the capability to spy and launch cyber attacks on other nation spacecraft if & when needed.

As Xingshidai will be using a number of high-resolution sensors, high-quality images will be sent to the earth and all the controlling will be done by Artificial Intelligence powered human intervention.

ADASpace is the Chinese based firm which is busy in rolling out the Leo satellites belonging to Xingshidai.

According to an update given by Wang Long, the project manager of the Chinese firm, all the satellites will be launched into space with the help of Julang-1 booster rockets at a total cost of 25 million Yuan or 2.87 million pounds.

Each Juliang-1 rocket is capable of carrying a load of over 150 Kg for up to 372 miles. However, the traveling distance might be improved by a double fold while building up the constellation of satellites.
