Accenture purchases Revolutionary Security

Accenture has released a statement yesterday that Cybersecurity firm Revolutionary Security is now a part of Accenture Security on an official note. The financial figure involved in the purchase deal is yet to be disclosed. But highly placed sources from Accenture have confirmed that the IT and OT Security company which was on its purchase radar since September 2019 is now a part of the tech giant from March 2020.

Accenture which allocated a budget of $1.4 Billion for the fiscal year 2020 has been looking to strengthening its business in the field of Cybersecurity from the past 8 months. And as a part of its strategic plan the Global IT Services provider has spent around $584 million on 17 acquisitions in the last fiscal year which includes the purchase of Deja Vu Security, iDefense Security, Yesler, ESR Labs, AlphaBeta Advisors, VanBerlo, Mudano, IdeoClick, Apis Group, Maglan and of course the mighty Symantec Cyber Security Services Business.

FYI the latest buy Revolutionary Security offers technology that helps companies to implement Cybersecurity programs across their IT and OT( Operational Technology) environments. This includes the framework of cloud security programs, Cyber Threat Intelligence, Threat Hunting and Vulnerability Management.

Revolutionary Security also offers LiveFire Breach and Attack Stimulation Testing Service which allows firms to track down Cyber Threats on time and mitigate them without much fuss.
