Donald Trump’s Election Website hacked

Hackers suspected to be supporters of Joe Biden, reportedly hacked and defaced the website of Donald Trump for a brief period yesterday, after which the website DonaldJTrump.com was taken offline on a complete note from 7:20 to 7:50PM.

Highly placed sources say that the hackers took control of the entire devices of President Trump and accessed his entire network for a brief period, apparently accessing data related to his relatives.

Cyber Crooks then posted a message on the official election website of Donald Trump stating his criminal involvement with foreign actors manipulating the 2020 elections.  In another message, the hackers claimed that Trump as a president failed to contain the Corona virus. They then gave links to two cryptocurrency addresses saying “one yes release the data” and second “no release the data”.

At 9Pm on Tuesday, Trump 2020 election campaign’s communication Director Tim Murtaugh confirmed the system breach of trump’s election website, but assured that no sensitive data was compromised.

Security analysts Peter Siddle said that often such claims prove as phony as there is no evidence that either Joe Biden or Trump paid the hackers to do such attacks.

Mr. Siddle who works as a freelance security researcher for a Canada-based Threat Analysis firm added that hackers often use the names of high-profile events such as electoral and sporting events to launch cyber attacks in order to capitalize those events to the core.

Note – Last week, a Dutch white hat hacker named Victor Givers claimed that he could get into the Twitter account of Trump with the use of ‘maga2020!’ password. He also claimed that he could post messages, change profile appearance and name as the twitter handle lacked a 2FA. Twitter ruled out the claims as mere speculation/s and said that no account of Donald Trump was hacked in the event.
