Russian intelligence from Kremlin has warned that the public and private companies operating in their country are at a major risk of facing a massive cyber attack soon. The nation has warned that United States could launch the attack in retaliation to the SolarWinds scandal, aka SolarGate.
It has to be notified that Russian intelligence backed hackers started a hacking campaign in 2018 where they somehow compromised the computer networks of over 250 federal agencies and 36 private companies that include NVIDIA, VMware, Microsoft, and Cisco.
Investigations revealed that the attack took place through a malware induction into the SolarWinds Orion Monitoring and Management software only to be found in Nov’2020 by Cybersecurity FireEye.
Since Joe Biden’s government has taken the administration of North America, the Putin led nation suspects that retaliation filled digital attack will be launched soon.
FYI, Moscow issued a nationwide alert via National Coordination Center for Computer Incidents (NKTSKI), an agency founded by the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB).
Russia has previously denied being involved in the SolarWinds scandal and asserted that it does not need to indulge in such snooping activities.
Meanwhile, Joe Biden’s administration has assured that the Cybersecurity infrastructure on United States will be bolstered by a $9 billion investment that will help the nation overhaul the security architecture of the entire nation.

But Biden cleared the air that an official probe will be held over the incident, as it has the potential to cause a lot of harm to the national integrity by breaching the trust of the populace.
