Argus, a Cybersecurity solutions provider for connected cars aka automated vehicles has announced that it is collaborating with Tech Giant Microsoft to assist automotive manufacturers in mitigating risks associated with connected cars.
Microsoft is going to achieve it by integrating Argus Cyber Security suite with Azure IoT to provide an end-to-end solution that helps monitor, detect and mitigate cyber threats targeting in-vehicle information.
“We are extremely privileged to join the world’s leading company i.e. Microsoft and will be pleased to announce that all our security solutions will be integrating with Azure to help vehicle manufacturers from being exploited by hackers. Thus, by partnering with Microsoft, Argus will help automotive manufacturers build cost effective vehicles that are cyber secure without impacting their production cycle or project risks”, said Miki Hakak, Business Development Argus Cyber Security.
As all future connected cars need to abide navigational intelligence rather than just logging telematics to the cloud, Microsoft is offering a Connected Vehicle Platform where it rises to the horizon with partners across the industry to deliver digital services related to vehicle provisioning, network connectivity and continuous over the air security updates.
By provisioning data to the cloud, new insights can be gained, accessed and shared to optimize the experience of the vehicle users regarding routers, driving patterns and vehicle and incident data.
Since Argus has comprehensive and modular solutions to ensure safety and security of the entire vehicle, it helps thwart cyber attacks on critical functions such as vehicle management systems.
