Meta, that now owns Facebook, has proudly announced that the world’s powerful AI supercomputer build by it is ready to go to the operational phase as its testing phase is about to complete in the next few weeks.
The technology giant of America has named its newly developed AI Supercomputer as AI Research SuperCluster (RSC) and will induce it into its operations by the 3Q of 2022.
Technology analysts’ state that the tech of RSC will be integrated into another major computing tech dubbed Metaverse that will take its current social media platform to the next level as it will be enriched with AR tools that can smartly analyze text, images and videos and will also be able to recognize over 832 languages on an initial note.
Artificial Intelligence RSC will also sieve content that is being posted against the policies of the Mark Zuckerberg led company, bringing an enormous relief to content monitoring Facebook engineers employed to keep a check on unwanted content from being posted.
The highlight of RSC will be its ability to train itself in Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Computer Vision and will enable its sophistication to the next level where it can understand and respond to human generated text or speech.
Built on a network of 760 Nvidia DGX A100 System and accounting for a compute of over 6080 GPUs, the RSC will be one of the most powerful computers in the world and will probably process trillions of large and different data sets per hour, equivalent to Exabytes of HD video content that can be viewed for over 36,000 years.
