Anonymous, an international hacking group having a history of hacking Financial firm PayPal has issued a warning that Tesla Chief Elon Musk will have to face serious digital consequences if he doesn’t mend his ways on Twitter.
Last week, Musk disclosed his mind about Cryptocurrencies on his Twitter page and went to an extent of saying that he has the potential to make the value of Cryptocurrencies plunge – and that was taken negatively by Anonymous as the price of the Bitcoin( one of the cryptocurrency variant) plunged by 7% on Friday.
A video being circulated on the internet and released by Anonymous states that Tesla CEO will have to face terrible consequences if he doesn’t mend his ‘Cavalier’ attitude towards the average working person.
As they are people who are investing in Crypto to improve their lives, tweets such as the one posted by Musk can spell devastation into the lives of millions of retail investors say Anonymous.
Now to those uninitiated, Tesla chief was a major promoter of cryptocurrencies to date. But when one of his Twitter followers asked him that does his company accepts payments for cars in Bitcoins, he said that mining those currencies was a waste of energy that made thousands of BTC investors face losses last weekend.
Anonymous saw the attitude of Musk as nothing more than another Narcissistic Rich Dude who was desperate for attention and so issued a warning to him that he must get ready to face serious consequences for influencing crypto markets via his dictatorship-driven trolling.
The message released by Anonymous states that the electric car maker made more money just by holding bitcoins in the market rather than selling cars in years. And they argue that most of that investment was made by Mr. Musk through government-funded subsidies.
Hope, Musk and his team have taken the threat seriously and have put all necessary Cybersecurity measures in place to save their critical IT infrastructure and digital assets.
Note- Anonymous is known to launch cyberattacks against governments and their laws. This hacking group has a history of infiltrating a digital campaign of Trump and Ms. Hillary Clinton during the 2016 US Elections and has now warned Elon Musk for his defamatory comments on Crypto.
