IT giant Deloitte has announced that it is going to acquire aeCyberSolutions that is into the business of industrial Cybersecurity. The financial terms of the deal are yet to be known, but reports are in that the deal only includes assets belonging to the cyber arm of the Applied Engineering Solutions (aeSolutions) and not other businesses.
Trade analysts say that the deal will strengthen the stand of Deloitte in the development of business related to industrial risk advisory and security assessment and will also add an edge to its current business of offering solutions for industrial control systems-operations and security.
aeCyberSolutions is Deloitte’s 5th acquisition for this year, i.e. 2021 and the list of other companies that have been acquired by the multinational professional services company include-
TransientX that was purchased by Deloitte in July 2021 to expand its business of Zero Trust Network Access enhanced with Government focused capabilities.
CloudQuest a company that offers cloud security posture management that will help Deloitte enhance its security orchestration, automation and response strategies.
Terbium Labs that were purchased in May 2021 to integrate the technology of threat detection and response into Deloitte’s digital risk detection and protection business.
Root9B a threat detection service provider that will be integrated into Deloitte’s Fusion Managed Security Service.
Deloitte’s quest for new acquisitions to gain new technology that can bolster its cybersecurity business to assist its growth across government and commercial sectors.
