Elon Musk Company Open AI proves that AI can spin fake news

Tesla chief Elon Musk’s company OpenAI has offered a demonstration to the world on how the technology of Artificial Intelligence can be smartly utilized to spin fake news. Publishing an example on this note on last Thursday, OpenAI offered a demo on how its system can produce fake news articles which look authentic only with information leads.

Titled as “A train carriage containing controlled nuclear materials was stolen in Cincinnati today- the news article was spun by software containing 7 paragraph news stories, including quotes from govt officials.

Sam Bowman, the computer scientists at the New York University who specializes in natural language processing was stunned with the developments and stated that the OpenAI software is able to do things that are qualitatively much more sophisticated than anything we’ve seen before.

When the whole world is screeching to block fake news, OpenAI has come up with an example of how bad guys can use AI technology to influence the world. And as a precautionary measure, OpenAI has decided not to make its software details available as an open source as it can be exploited by state-funded actors- like how Russia used Facebook & Twitter accounts to influence the 2016 US Polls.

From the past couple users, Tesla chief has announced to the world on many occasions that AI can prove disastrous to the world with most being a job stealer.

Perhaps, the latest demo from OpenAI could have been published to support his statements made to date.

Holger Schulze, the founder of Cybersecurity Insiders has a different viewpoint in this entire scenario. Schulze said that every technology has its own pros and cons and all depends on the mind which is using it- whether to use it in a negative or positive way.
