Iran to launch Cyber Attacks on North America!

Iran has decided to launch cyber attacks on North America should Trump scrap the nuclear deal. Thus, it’s now termed as the fourth nation to pose as a prominent aggressor to the United States in Cyberspace, alongside China, Russia, and North Korea.

Iran’s state-sponsored hackers dismissively known as “Kittens” have issued a media statement saying that they will conduct cyber intrusions into the critical infrastructure of America and allied systems, causing espionage, subversion, sabotage and possible coercion.

A group called Qassam Cyber Fighters having a previous record of launching DDoS attacks have issued a fresh warning that banks and cryptocurrency exchanges operating in the United States and Britain will be their first target.

The hackers group is targeting Cryptocurrency exchanges and bitcoin web wallet platforms to help fund their future objectives. The said hackers group is the one which flooded the US bank servers with fake traffic from 2011 and 2013 and has a record of infiltrating the computer network of a dam operated in upstate New York in March 2016.

On the other hand, Mohammad Zarif, the Iranian Foreign Minister issued a press statement saying that the world is misunderstanding Iran’s Ballistic Missile Program. Zarif added in his statement that the program is crafted to improve the military capabilities of the country and is said to fully comply with the international law and is entirely defensive.

But Nikki Haley, the US Ambassador to United Nations just released a new report that tells a different story. Nikki Haley has quoted Iran as the arsonist and demands Iran’s explanation to the Tehran Regime.

White House has also reacted to the media reports which say that Iran’s Cyber Warfare Programs pose a cyber threat to America. A statement from the spokesperson says that under the leadership of Donald Trump, United States military capabilities have been raised to such an extent that the nation is now in a position to defend itself from any range of attacks coming from the air, water, or land- including cyberspace.
