Oracle bolsters its Cloud Security capabilities

Oracle has bolstered its Cloud Infrastructure with five new capabilities in order to protect its customers against attacks on cloud applications and data assets. The software giant will enhance its cloud native firewall service to enhance Oracle Cloud Guard and Oracle Security Zones.

Nowadays, every business is interested in moving its application workloads and data to the cloud. However, there is showing a kind of trepidation against security vulnerabilities that arise inside and outside the firewall networks, leading to breaches and misuse of data, later.

Oracle OCI is being presented to all cloud consumers to address all of their security concerns at one go and that too in compliance with the current data laws related to security threats, prevention and outages.

The 5 newly induced security parameters include OCI Network Firewall, Oracle Threat Intelligence Service, Oracle Cloud Guard Threat Detector, Oracle Security Zones, and Oracle Cloud Guard Fusion Applications Detector.

Note- In May 2022, Oracle bagged a project from Williams Companies, the company that is listed in the list of Fortune 500 Companies. Williams who is into the production of 30% of natural gas in United States has announced that it is moving its financial operations completely to Oracle Fusion Cloud Enterprise resource Planning (ERP) as the said platform is highly secure, scalable and has excellent management capabilities that will in-turn help in bringing down Capex and OPEX costs.
