Threat Stack, the Massachusetts based Cloud Security Management Company has announced that it is going to acquire application runtime security vendor Bluefyre to strengthen its cloud security product offering portfolio.
Thus, the latest acquisition is all set to offer developers the privilege of building a secure, cloud-native application that can detect and prevent threats at runtime, including those applications working on Kubernotes.

“As Runtime monitoring and detection throughout the development and operations lifecycle is critical and Bluefyre is said to boost Threat Stack’s cloud infrastructure security observability to provide DevOps and Security Teams with a single took that provides in-depth visibility and actionable intelligence”, said Tim Buntel, the Co-founder and CEO, Bluefyre.
Note 1-The financial details of the deal are yet to be known. But the news is out that Buntel will join Threat Stack as VP of Application Security Products and Sabin Thomas, the co-founder of Bluefyre will join Threat Stack’s team as VP of Application Security Engineering.
Note 2-Threat Stack’s deal to purchase Bluefyre is said to end by this year and it plans to integrate the capabilities of the 2017 Boston based startup Bluefyre’s stack security solutions into its Cloud SecOps Program by early next year.
