UK Intelligence tracked 100 hacking groups’ cyber attacking government data!

UK’s National Cyber Security Center (NCSC) has made it official on Sunday that it has tracked around 100 hacking groups which are trying to steal the country’s sensitive data. Thus, with the announcement that UK Intelligence wants to infer that all threats to national security of their country have moved to “Cyber Dimension”.

Ciaran Martin, the head of the NCSC has confirmed the news and said that the most active groups among the specified number are being funded by countries like Russia, China, North Korea, and Iran, with the headcount or hackers working for such groups reaching to 1,000.

The issue of cybersecurity has been particularly acute over the past few months in the United Kingdom. And the best instance to prove it was the WannaCry Ransomware Attack which made National Health Service (NHS) fall to knees for weeks in May this year.

Since the beginning of this year, Britain’s intelligence services have reportedly detected around 750 cyber attacks targeting the country’s critical infrastructure and financial systems. There is evidence that hackers have succeeded in rolling their hands over the 1TB of data and may use it as a cyber weapon one day.

Last week, UK and US on a joint note blamed North Korea for the WannaCry Ransomware cyber attack. But Kim Jong UN reacted to the allegations and said that such accusations are intimidating and could lead to an “Act of War”.

And as soon as the North Korea leader heard about the UN Sanctions he said that the upcoming year will pronounce a kind of death to all western countries.
