UK to build $5 billion headquarters to retaliate offensive Cyber Attacks

All these days, Britain tried its best to remain calm against nations that were hitting its critical infrastructure constantly on a digital note. But now, the nation will not remain silent against the cyber warfare and has retaliated strongly.

UK Defense Secretary Ben Wallace has announced that his nation will soon build a $5 billion National Cyber Force Headquarters to retaliate tier 1 kind of cyber attacks by hostile nations.

The land to build the headquarters has been allotted at a remote village in Samlesbury, Lancashire and the cyber center is expected to be ready by 2023.

Boris Johnson is expected to recite a citation on this note in a speech to the Conservative Party Conference at Manchester this weekend- yet nothing is official though

Reuters says that Britain will be the first ever nation to build a cybersecurity centre in the world that will retaliate to offensive attacks from hostile nations.

Perhaps Pentagon’s National Security Agency is probably the first to host such headquarters since 2012, where it not only retaliates to digital attacks launched on its infrastructure by other nations. But also spies on individuals, governments and companies related and operating in other nations…..isn’t it interesting….all thanks to NSA Whistle-blower Edward Snowden!

Note- Do the words of Ben Wallace mean that the upcoming National Cyber Center will cripple the infrastructure of other countries…? Or will the nation wait for a cyber polygon to take place to react harshly?
